We’ll be filling your ears with great music and your belly with amazing food this month, with all the awesome talent on our MidCoast Roots Thursdays series!  Join us from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Thursdays in October and get a well-rounded feast!

October 2: Betse EllisBetse-Ellis
Badass fiddler and Ozark fireball Betse Ellis brings an edgy fire to every note she bows, strums, sings, or shouts. Part old-time celebrant and part contemporary songwriter, Betse blends traditional source material with her own original works.

October 9: Kasey Rausch
An award-winning 4th-generation musician who plays and writes Americana-rooted music, Kasey also co-hosts River Trade Radio on 90.1 FM KKFI.

 

 

October 16: Dan BlissDan-Bliss_rooster
A performer with a well-traveled repertoire of traditional blues, folk, and swing tunes, Dan’s songwriting is showcased in his performances along with his trademark fingerstyle guitar work.

 

 

ShortleafOctober 23: Shortleaf
A music duo from Missouri with strong ties to the traditions of the Ozarks, Michael Fraser & Tenley Hansen specialize in high-energy music rooted in celtic and old time traditions.

 

 

October 30: Kelly Werts10-30-14_Kelly-Werts
A new talent to our stage, Kelly plays guitar and sings both traditional Americana and original songs.  Special guest Diana Campbell Werts (wife and accordionist!) will join in for a few numbers as well.
