The Farmhouse proudly presents the June 2019 Farmer-to-Table, Morning Glory Farms.

Tonight we are serving tequila braised ox tail enchiladas, braised beef osso bucco and 12 oz. prime rib.  All made from proteins raised at Morning Glory Farms.

Help restore Crum’s Heirlooms Farm

Jim and Deb Crum’s dream was to turn their garden into a farm to feed Kansas City. In 2002 they achieved that goal. They offer locally grown, healthy produce to many restaurants and kitchens in Kansas City. The recent tornado has affected Crum’s farm in Bonner Springs. As a community, it is our turn to give back and help out one of our favorite farmers.

A Go Fund Me has been established in Crum’s Heirlooms Farms’ honor to help restore their farm and their dreams.

The Farmhouse is also collecting donations to help Jim, Deb and the rest of the Crum family in their time of need.

“Under The Same Sky” — An Exhibit by Kwanza Humphrey

Native Kansas City artist Kwanza Humphrey  explores what it means to be human in today’s charged world.  In his large format paintings and pencil studies, Kwanza explores the individual responsibility of caretaker for the planet and our fellow human.  In a world so divided by what makes us different, Kwanza asserts that we are more connected through our emotions than we are divided by our ideology.

Celebrate Kwanza’s opening at a reception from 5:30-7pm Friday, May 3.

 

4/26/19 Thursday Night Pig N Whiskey

Every Thursday night our culinary team creates a special plate showcasing locally produced pork served with gourmet sides for only $20. To accompany the pig plate, Angelica creates a whiskey flight for $10. It’s the best deal in town!!!

This week we’re serving Vegetable Potstickers with red peppers, asparagus, mushrooms, carrots, Brussel sprouts, chilis, onions, and garlic in a handmade dumpling.  All this for only $20!

Starting this week, we introduce new items available for our seasonally changing Dinner menu.

Come in and try our new Espresso Chili Pork Chop, a 12 ounce KC strip or the Vera Cruz Fish of the Day. All new items made from local Kansas and Missouri farms.

It’s Warming Up At The Farmhouse

Warm weather has arrived in Kansas City and The Farmhouse.  Our patio is now open for outdoor seating for the season.
